Losing my mum at 17 changed the way I think about memories forever. We still had photographs, but over time I realised what I missed most wasn't seeing her face. It was hearing her voice, asking the questions I never had the chance to ask, and understanding more about the woman she was.

My dad's journey from Ghana to the UK also showed me how deeply our parents' stories shape our own. Their experiences, values and sacrifices become part of who we are, yet so much of that history can disappear if it's never shared.

That's why I created EverKin Stories. I wanted to create something more meaningful than photographs alone—a way to preserve not just what someone looked like, but their voice, personality, laughter and the stories that make them unique.

Every Life Story Video is a relaxed, beautifully filmed conversation, allowing people to share their memories in their own words, for the people they love most. My hope is that every film becomes a treasured family heirloom that helps children, grandchildren and future generations feel connected to the person behind the stories.

Because when stories are lost, we don't just lose history. We lose a part of ourselves.
